eStream project organised a successful seminar on the use of video in the classroom

From Thursday 26 until Saturday 28 of May 2005, 40 European experts in the use of media for education, gathered in Leuven for a three day seminar, organised by ATiT on behalf of the eStream project. The participants from 13 European countries discussed during these days intensively how media and in particular streaming media can contribute to better learning in Europe. The seminar allowed for the exchange of experiences and demonstration of good practise but also addressed important issues in parallel workshops such as IPR, transnational and multilingual issues, standardisation and pedagogical considerations. This seminar was also the kick off for the preparation of the eStream conference that will be held from 14-16 of June 2006 in Patras. On Saturday, the seminar concluded with a visit to the AVnet, the media centre of the K.U.Leuven. Read and see more
