Media on Demand Service
Open Media on Demand WebClient Open Translation Tool The multilingualism (incl. a translation tool) and the possibility to provide subtitles of the media on demand application were developed within the eStream project. A series of Working demonstrators provide didactical information, learning aims, background information, additional materials, links, the speakers text, etc. - suitable to each educational medium. The didactic materials and the speaker´s text (transcript) can be administrated and edited online. The speaker´s text is automatically generated via „speech to text recognition“ (It is necessary to edit the text and go through it twice in order to provide an error-free transcript) The same text appears as transcript (subtitles) below the videoplayer and on the right side as speaker´s text. It is possible to change the language of the video (audio) which appears below the videoplayer. At the index card “info” it is possible to change the language of all additional materials (background, didactics, videoclips,…).
